ARNAV FUERI
Basic Description: Second to be turned - that he knows of - by Aralyn, Arnav was a willing participant. Aware of the Oceanid inhabiting his body, Arnav opted for the benefit of lycanthropy to better protect himself - and by association, the Oceanid. Unlike most lycans and werewolves that he's read about, Arnav shifts at will, but not during the full moon. And, also unlike most he's read about, he is in complete control of himself as the wolf. He attributes these uncanny quirks to his co-pilot. As a wolf, Arnav benefits from all the strengths - and weaknesses - as that of natural-born, wild wolves (non-lycans). As a lycan, he is offered a few off-menu specialties.
Abilities:
Lunar Healing - Speed of healing from wounds varies depending on the phases of the moon. Quickest during the full moon; slowest during the new moon.
Keen Sight - Even when not shifted, Arnav has the ability to see minute details in the darkness of nightfall. When shifted, the wolf's pupils widen beyond the natural limit to allow for a form of night vision when hunting.
Tracking - The olfactory ability of the wolf can be accessed when not shifted to aid in the locating of a person or persons by nuances in their blood, sweat, and natural odor.
Weaknesses:
Silver - Inherited by his sire, Arnav's skin and blood react to silver as though it were acid. Wounds created by silver take thrice as long to heal as a normal weapon wound, even during the full moon.
Lunar Eclipse - At any time the moon is eclipsed, regardless of it's phase, Arnav will find himself overwhelmingly lethargic. Being near large bodies of water can help because the Oceanid inside becomes stronger in those locales, but usually Arnav just sleeps through these lunar events; almost always unwillingly.
Vampirism - The meager traces of vampiric lineage blood in Arnav's system make him susceptible to damage from holy water, garlic, and religious icons.
